Welcome to the Governing Body for Stockbridge Primary & Preschool

The Governors at Stockbridge Primary & Pre-School help Mrs Jefferies to manage the strategic side of school development whilst ensuring that the School is meeting its statutory responsibilities. They act as the School’s ‘critical friend’ to ensure that the needs of every child are catered for.

This website is the communication tool which the governing body use in their day to day work for the school.  We are all volunteers connected to the school and its community in some way.  And whilst we spend as much time at the school as we can, we usually only get to see all of us together at the Full Governor Meetings.  So a communication tool is really useful for us.
